Rumored Pantech Breakout, Another LTE Phone on Verizon

A recent leak has us wondering about the possibility of a new Verizon device, the Breakout, coming in the following months. While the specs aren’t great – just a 1GHz CPU, 512MB RAM, front and back cameras and Gingerbread – it does support Verizon LTE. Judging by the popularity of LTE and the relative demand for inexpensive smartphones, our guess is that this phone will target the low-budget crowd (maybe even the prepaid crowd). Xiaomi M1 phone comes with MIUI ROM pre-installed for $310

The Xiaomi M1 was a rumor, but now it is official and launching in Beijing this October. The most important spec on this baby is that it comes pre-installed with the MIUI ROM. MIUI is one of the more popular customer ROMs, but if you fancy something else, you can easily swap it since the Xiaomi comes unlocked.

PS3 Sixaxis and dualshock 3 controllers now work with your Android phone or tablet

An app called Sixaxis Controller is now in the market that lets you pair you PlayStation 3 Sixaxis or dualshock 3 controller to your Android phone or tablet. It allows you to use your controller with many of you favorite games and applications via wireless Bluetooth.
You will need to be rooted and unfortunately all devices are not supported. The app costs $1.65, but the developer has a free device compatibility checker to see if you phone or tablet is compatible before purchasing.
