Big Hardware Compensating for a Terrible Name, Bell Motorola XT860 4G is a Go

In the final round of phones to be released this quarter, Bell is showcasing the Bell Motorola XT860 4G just in time to compete with the HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S II 4G, Moto Atrix 4G, and several other self-proclaimed “superphones”. The XT860 4G (can we just call it by DROID 3 or Milestone 3?) comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a hefty dual-core 1GHz CPU and a 4” qHD touchscreen at 960×540. Moto claims that this phone is the thinnest slider available, at just 12.9 mm thick, but its hefty 167 grams may turn some away. So may the convoluted name. Prices range from $99.95 on 3-year contract, or $549.95 off.
