Soar Through the Hills with Dragon, Fly! for Android

It’s a classic story of flying the nest, only this time it’s a young dragon scooting out for its very first time. It’s Dragon, Fly! Android app, where you help a fledgling dragon fly the coop and soar through the surrounding country.
Think you have what it takes to out run momma dragon? Strap on your wings and take flight with my Android app review of Dragon, Fly!
Gameplay
In a lot of ways the Dragon, Fly! Android app is very similar to another app we’ve reviewed here at Android Apps Review called Moon Chaser. Only the Dragon, Fly! app is all about a young dragon taking on the hills instead of a stealthy ninja.

Each level of Dragon, Fly! is comprised of hills. These aren’t just any hills. There are steep banks, shallow gullies, and a generally haphazard layout. Speed down hills, then let your young dragon go. If you play correctly that little guy should slingshot up in the air.
Land perfect swooshes to earn bonus points. Collect diamonds and bursts along the way. Above all else, keep a healthy distance ahead of momma dragon. If she catches up with you then the game is over and you have to start over again from the beginning.
Leaderboards, in app achievements and fun rankings such as squire and knight, all make Dragon, Fly! Android app a lot of fun.
User Interface
To control your baby dragon in Dragon, Fly! Android app you touch the screen and release the screen. When you are going down a hill, touch the screen to speed down it. Let go of the screen as you ascend the peaks to let your dragon gain momentum.
It’s a pretty simple control interface, making the app easy to use and learn how to play. There is a built in tutorial mode and tutorial slides if you need a little help getting used to the controls.
Layout & Design
Dragon, Fly! Android app runs very smoothly. The game loads at least 60 frames per second for a fast paced gaming experience. The graphics are fun, though definitely cartoonish and 2D. Each level is a little different, and difficulty does increase as you progress.
All in all, I wasn’t blow away with Dragon, Fly! Android app’s graphics, but they are cute and facilitate game play nicely.
Value
I am a girl who loves a good deal, and the Dragon, Fly! Android app falls neatly into the very good deal category. The app is free, which means it’s ad supported but they are tastefully placed. If you are looking for a challenging app with an adorable main character, your search is over.
